Who We Are
Lamu Outreach Youth Agenda (LOYA) is a youth-driven organization based in Lamu County, Kenya, established in January 2020.LOYA was created to respond to emerging challenges affecting communities in coastal Kenya, including conflict, social exclusion, youth vulnerability, and limited livelihood opportunities.Through people-to-people approaches, LOYA brings together young people, women, community leaders, faith actors, government institutions, and other stakeholders to promote dialogue, trust, and collective action.Our work is guided by the belief that diverse communities can peacefully coexist when they have opportunities to communicate, collaborate, and address shared challenges together.
