Vitambulisho Kwa Wote (2023)

Implemented under the Kwa Pamoja Tuzuie Balaa initiative and supported by Search for Common Ground, this project focused on improving access to national identification documents among marginalized and pastoral communities.

The project created awareness on the importance of obtaining national identity cards, explained the registration and vetting processes, and facilitated constructive engagement between community members and government institutions. Through the use of trusted community influencers and collaboration with the Office of the Registrar of Persons, the initiative addressed misconceptions, reduced barriers to access, and strengthened the relationship between communities and state institutions.

The project contributed to social inclusion and improved access to citizenship rights and services among historically marginalized populations.
