Women Empowerment & Inclusion

LOYA recognizes that women play a critical role in building peaceful, inclusive, and resilient communities. The Women Empowerment and Inclusion Programme creates opportunities for women to actively participate in peacebuilding, community leadership, and local development processes.

The organization facilitates women forums and women-led dialogue platforms where participants discuss issues affecting their lives, including gender-based violence, economic marginalization, family wellbeing, and access to leadership opportunities. Through women sisterhood sessions and peer support networks, women are empowered to identify collective solutions and strengthen their social support systems.

LOYA also promotes women’s participation in community decision-making structures and peace initiatives by creating safe spaces for engagement and leadership development. By supporting women-led community action and advocacy, the programme contributes to stronger social cohesion, increased community resilience, and more inclusive development outcomes.
